Refund, Cancellation, Rescheduling & No-Show Policy

Effective Date: 10/21/2026

At Make A Wave, we are committed to helping clients build sustainable habits and make meaningful progress toward whole-person health and wellness. Our services involve dedicated coaching time, individualized preparation, and resources designed to support each client’s goals.

This policy explains how cancellations, missed appointments, refunds, and program withdrawals are handled. Please review it carefully before purchasing or booking a service.

1. One-on-One Coaching Sessions

Cancellation and rescheduling

Clients must provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a one-on-one coaching session.

Sessions rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice may be moved to another mutually available time.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be treated as a used session.

Rescheduling is subject to availability.

Exceptions may be considered for emergencies or unexpected circumstances at Make A Wave’s discretion.

Late arrivals and no-shows

Clients are expected to arrive on time for scheduled sessions. If a client arrives late, the session may still end at its originally scheduled time.

A client who does not attend a scheduled session and does not provide notice may forfeit that session without a refund or replacement session.

If Make A Wave must cancel or reschedule a session, the client will be offered a replacement appointment or an appropriate refund for the undelivered service.

2. Four-Week and Twelve-Week Coaching Programs

Coaching programs may include consultations, assessments, individualized plans, educational resources, progress reviews, and ongoing accountability.

Before the program begins

If a client requests cancellation before the program begins, Make A Wave will review the request and determine any refund due under the terms disclosed at purchase. Any deduction for personalized work already completed must be reasonable, clearly disclosed, and permitted by applicable law.

After the program begins

Once coaching has started, payments are generally not refundable for services already delivered, sessions already used, or digital resources already provided, subject to applicable law.

If a client chooses to discontinue a program early, Make A Wave will review the services delivered and the remaining portion of the program. Any refund, credit, pause, or transfer will be determined according to the terms disclosed at purchase and applicable law.

Clients should contact Make A Wave as soon as possible if illness, injury, a significant life event, or another unexpected circumstance affects their ability to participate. Where appropriate, a program pause or extension may be considered.

Payment plans

If a program is purchased through an installment plan, cancellation or discontinuation does not automatically cancel outstanding payment obligations. The applicable payment terms presented at purchase will govern, subject to applicable law.

3. Digital Products and Online Resources

Digital products may include downloadable guides, educational materials, recorded content, online courses, and other resources.

Because digital resources may be accessed or delivered immediately, purchases are generally non-refundable once access has been provided or the product has been delivered, except where a refund is required by law or expressly offered in the terms of sale.

If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from accessing a purchased resource, please contact Make A Wave so we can work with you to resolve it.

Any product-specific refund terms displayed at checkout will apply in addition to this policy.

4. Group Programs, Classes, and Running & Fellowship

Registration fees for group programs, running sessions, workshops, and other in-person or online group activities are subject to the terms presented at registration.

Missed classes generally do not qualify for a refund or make-up session unless the program terms state otherwise.

If Make A Wave cancels a class, event, or session, participants will be offered a reasonable alternative, such as a rescheduled session, account credit, or refund for the canceled service, as appropriate.

Outdoor activities may be rescheduled or modified due to severe weather, unsafe conditions, facility closures, or other circumstances affecting participant safety.

Any membership cancellation deadlines, billing cycles, and renewal terms will be disclosed at enrollment.

5. Recurring Memberships and Subscriptions

Clients enrolled in recurring memberships or subscriptions may cancel future renewals using the cancellation method provided at enrollment or by contacting Make A Wave.

Cancellation will generally take effect at the end of the current paid billing period unless the terms at purchase or applicable law require otherwise. Fees for a billing period that has already begun are generally non-refundable.

Clients remain responsible for reviewing the billing frequency, renewal date, cancellation deadline, and instructions provided at signup. Make A Wave will provide any renewal notices or cancellation options required by applicable law.

6. Refund Requests

To request a cancellation or refund, contact:

Email: makeawave76@gmail.com
Subject line: Cancellation or Refund Request

Please include your name, the service or program purchased, the purchase date, and a brief explanation of your request.

Make A Wave will review the request and respond within a reasonable time frame. If a refund is approved, it will generally be issued to the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider or financial institution.

Submitting a request does not guarantee that a refund will be approved. All decisions will be made in accordance with the terms disclosed at purchase and applicable law.

7. Results and Client Responsibility

Make A Wave provides education, coaching, and support to help clients develop sustainable health and wellness habits. Individual results vary based on many factors, including personal circumstances, consistency, health history, and participation.

Purchasing a service does not guarantee a specific health, fitness, performance, or lifestyle outcome.

8. Exceptions and Applicable Law

We understand that unexpected circumstances can arise. Make A Wave may consider reasonable exceptions when appropriate. Any exception to this policy does not create an obligation to make the same exception in another situation.

Nothing in this policy is intended to limit any consumer rights or cancellation rights that cannot legally be waived. If any provision conflicts with applicable law, the law will govern.

9. Policy Updates

Make A Wave may update this policy as services evolve. The version in effect at the time of purchase will generally govern that transaction, except where an update is required by law or otherwise applies under the terms agreed to by the client.
